Kate Ketchum is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in Counselor Education and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the last five years Kate has worked in the mental health field as a counselor, educator, and supervisor.

Kate’s passions and professional specialties include: adventure therapy, individual and couples therapy (intensives if interested), identity development, body functionality, relational and spiritual issues, and navigating new life seasons.

She is the proud wife to Connor Ketchum and mom to Lennon Lee Ketchum. She is excited to support her husband in his calling as the director of The Quarry Project, a faith-based Father/Son camp in Alaska in the summers. In her free time, Kate loves to train and compete in marathons and triathalons, drink good coffee, and adventure outdoors.

As a licensed therapist and counselor educator, I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of life and relationships. With a focus on relational issues, identity development, life transitions, and body image concerns, I create a compassionate and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, gain deeper self-awareness, and work towards meaningful change.

In my work with individuals I provide support and clarity in navigating major life transitions, whether it's adjusting to new roles, family dynamics, managing career changes, or processing personal growth. I believe that identity is shaped through our relationships and life experiences, and I work with clients to explore their values and beliefs, helping them gain clarity and confidence in who they are. n my work with couples, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their emotional connection.

For those facing challenges related to their bodies, I offer compassionate support in understanding the underlying issues and working towards a focus on body functionality rather than body image. My approach is holistic, taking into consideration not only the mind but the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of well-being.

For clients who seek it, I also offer faith-based counseling, integrating the Christian perspectives into the therapeutic process to provide a more personalized and meaningful journey. Whether you're working through relational difficulties, seeking deeper understanding of yourself, or navigating a life change, I am here to support you in your journey toward healing and growth.
